Description
A notebook with a sleeping face on its cover. There are three riddles needed to open it:
- I did not write this one fast enough :(
- The answer is “death”
- “Before the first question, I am there. After the last answer, I remain. Scholars chase me through dusty pages. Kings fear the shape I might take. Name me, and you think you understand me. Yet the moment you do… I become something else. What am I?”
- The answer is “the unknown”
- “I am the lie that keeps the living breathing, the whisper that defies the grave. I grow strongest when the world grows darkest, yet I cannot exist without despair. I have no weight, yet armies march because of me. I have no voice, yet the hopeless pray for me. Break me… and hearts fall silent. Keep me… and even the doomed will fight. What am I?”
- The answer is “hope”
The pages of the notebook are blank until an artifact is placed inside (confirmed only with the Diamond of 20 Monsters so far, but it is unlikely this only works with one of the 12 artifacts).
Uses
- When placing one of the 12 artifacts (TODO: figure out the real name of these 12 before adding a page for it) inside, the pages render text explaining what the artifact is
