You fling a massive icicle toward a creature within range. Make a ranged spell attack against the target. On a hit, it takes 3d8 Cold damage. If the target is also adjacent to a wall, or a similar fixed object, its Speed is 0 until the start of your next turn.

Using a Higher-Level Spell Slot. The damage increases by 1d8 for each spell slot level above 1.
