Callie “Cal” Dawnsong is a traveling Bard and investigator who once thought stories and memories were simply things to be told, not carried. Years ago, while wandering between towns collecting songs and rumors, they met a strange traveler who spoke about memories as if they had weight and could be held by someone else. Cal assumed it was just the sort of poetic nonsense bards enjoy, but the traveler would leave a mark on Cal that would forever change their life’s path. Their relationship with memories changed. They shifted from a typical bard storyteller/performer to bard with more powerful abilities and a different relationship with memories. Now Cal travels as a wandering bard and problem-solver, following rumors, uncovering secrets, and quietly searching for answers about the traveler who passed a strange gift to them.
